Member Registration

Before using this website, it is necessary to register as a member of it. Then, to use the website, it is necessary to log in using the ID and password that will be provided.

If you wish to register as a member, please notify the administrator by email. Please understand that the information provided will be verified before membership is granted.

Password Confirmation

Should you forget your password or be unable to log in, you can retrieve your password by sending your ID (email address) to the Password Confirmation page.

User's Top

After you log in, you will proceed to your personal User's Top page. This page lists various topics, newly arrived images, search functions, a history of any previous applications for image use, the status of applications, and more.

Category Index

All categories which are already registered or will be registered on this website are displayed on two pages. You can choose large and medium-size categories on the first page, or small categories on the second page. When you click on a category, all of the images registered in that category will be displayed.

Search

You can search by category, photograph information (photographer, photograph month and year), keyword, or image file name.

Contact

You are welcome to contact us with your opinions, questions, difficulties in using the website, etc.

Search Results

If you search for an image using the Image Search Form or the Category Index page, a list of thumbnails will be displayed. Using the thumbnails, you can obtain detailed information about the related images, check the conditions for using the images, and so on. By marking images that you want, you can place them on an Application List.

Image Details

If you click either a thumbnail image from an image search, or an enlargement mark, you will proceed to a page that provides detailed information about the related image.

Download Application

On the Download Application page, confirm the images that you marked and confirm your user information or correct it as need be. If there are no problems, enter as detailed information as possible about your purpose for using the images. Then proceed to the Confirmation page. Following confirmation, click the Application button. This completes the application process. We will send you confirmation of the application by email. In 1-3 business days, we will email you the results of our review of the application. The results will also be posted on your Userﾕs Top page. You can download each image that you are granted permission to use from a link.

In case you are not granted permission, we will notify you of the reasons and you can then appropriately adjust your purpose for using the image and reapply.
